TECAR THERAPY (Transfer of Energy Capacitive and Resistive)

TECAR THERAPY (Transfer of Energy Capacitive and Resistive)

- an innovative approach in physiotherapy for the treatment of various ailments
- a non-invasive physiotherapeutic method that uses radiofrequency energy to stimulate biological tissues.
- the therapy is intended to reduce pain, speed up the healing process, reduce inflammation and improve circulation and is completely painless.
- therapy is carried out via electrodes that deliver energy directly to the place where therapeutic action is needed
- enables faster recovery and reduction of pain without invasive procedures

Tecar therapy is used in:

Orthopedic problems such as:
back and neck pain (sciatica, lumbago, cervical)
joint problems (arthritis, arthrosis, bursitis)
inflammation of tendons and ligaments (tendinitis, tendionosis, enthesopathies)
Sports injuries (sprains, strains, muscle spasms, ligament injuries)
Postoperative rehabilitation (after joint, muscle or spine surgery)

Neuromuscular problems:
Myofascial pain syndrome: painful knots in the muscles
Neuropathies: A condition like carpal tunnel or tennis elbow
Peripheral nerve damage: restoration of function after nerve injury

Rheumatological problems:
Chronic pain: pain such as rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia
Degenerative joint diseases: osteoarthritis, spondylosis

Circulation problems:
Edema and lymphatic drainage: reduction of swelling and improvement of lymphatic circulation
Improvement of microcirculation: conditions with reduced blood circulation such as peripheral vascular diseases.

Traumas and acute injuries:
Acute soft tissue injuries: such as contusions and hematomas
Acceleration of wound healing: improvement of tissue regeneration after injury

Effects of Tecar therapy:

1. Reduction of pain: Tecar therapy reduces pain in acute and chronic conditions.
2. Acceleration of recovery: increases blood and lymph circulation, which accelerates the healing and tissue regeneration processes.
3. Reduction of inflammation: it has an anti-inflammatory effect and reduces swelling.
4. Improving mobility: increases the flexibility and mobility of joints and muscles.
5. Muscle relaxation: reduces muscle tension and spasms.

Duration of TECAR therapy:

Therapy usually lasts between 20 and 30 minutes per treatment. However, the duration may depend on the condition and problem being treated. Also, along with the Tecar treatment, we sometimes include other procedures for solving problems, such as electrotherapy, etc.
